About Us

As the North Tarrant Church of Christ, we are an autonomous group of Christians who work and worship together as a local family, with Christ as our head. We endeavor to:

  • Study, practice, and teach the truth from God’s Word.
  • Glorify God in joyful and heartfelt worship.
  • Strengthen and encourage each other in our walk with God.
  • Share the good news of God’s plan of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.

When you visit with us, we hope you will see that we are genuinely interested in you and your spiritual well-being. Jesus Christ can change your life for the better! Our hope of eternal salvation is built on Him as our foundational rock.

We are simply an independent local group of people belonging to Christ. We acknowledge Him as our Savior, and practice a commitment to serve Him as King of our lives (Ephesians 1:18-23). As we live by an obedient faith in His teachings, together we are Christ’s church. In Christ we have peace of mind, joy in living, hope for the future, and purpose in life.

On Sunday mornings and most Wednesday evenings, we have Bible classes for a variety of age groups. If you have children, some of the members will be glad to help you get them settled into a class prepared especially for them.

Whether you have studied the Bible all your life, or are just beginning to read God’s Word, we would love to help you grow in your knowledge of God and your relationship with Him. The Bible tells us that the church is to be “the pillar and support of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). Jesus tells us that we are true followers of Him if we continue in His Word (John 8:31-32). God also instructs us to earnestly examine His Word, so we can handle His truths accurately (1 Timothy 3:15). We are seeking to grow in our understanding of His truth AND its practical application in our daily lives. This is how we find lasting joy and peace of mind (Philippians 4:4-8).

If you want to know more about what we teach or do, we’d be happy to talk with you about this. We seek to give a reason from the Scriptures for all we believe and practice together (1 Peter 3:15, Colossians 3:17). If you don’t have a Bible, we’ll be happy to give you one. One of the members will also gladly get together with you, at your convenience, to study the Bible in a more private, informal, and relaxed setting. We’re all still learning, but we know God has the answers. Come grow with us!
